Leonard Texier: max him out, then the TT Center

He is 26 with TT 92, and he still has up to 43 training points in him. Put them into HL and SP, then send him to the TT Center for +5 TT, and he goes from a top-ten time triallist to one who wins them, in division 2 or division 3.

TT 92 · FR 68 · TQ 69 Age 26 137 of 180 training points used

The order

Three steps, in this order. The TT Center only lets in a rider who is fully maxed, so the training has to come first.

HLfirst, up to ~30 pts

Train HL until it stops landing

His HL potential is Average (60–69), so plan on it topping out around 65. That is room for about 30 points from 35. Of the 38 time trials in divisions 2 and 3, 15 are hilly (HL weight 3 to 7), and those are where his places move most.

SPthen, up to ~16 pts

Whatever is left goes into SP

SP potential is None (40–49), so about 16 points from 29. It helps on the prologues and flat ones. Leave CL and DH alone unless both of these stall early, and never CB: it is weighted 0 on every time trial he rides.

+5 TTTT 92 → 97

When a camp lands 0, he is maxed: TT Center

Once a session gains nothing (and it is not the four-sessions-then-race block), he will appear in the TT Center drop-down, as long as he is not signed up for any race. From TT 92 the bonus is +5, the bottom of the table, but at his level that is plenty.

What it is worth in points

Every division-2 and division-3 time trial on the calendar, replayed against the field that actually rode it last season, with Texier dropped in at full effort. This is the ceiling if he rode every one, not a forecast. You will not enter them all, and form and luck still bite.

In both divisions the side stats are worth more than the TT Center itself: +650 against +430 in division 2, +260 against +172 in division 3. That is why the training comes first. Division 2 pays nearly twice as much per place, so the same rider is worth more there.

The three wins are San Cataldo, Fort William and TT Zyte. Fort William is the one the training makes: 10th with the TT Center alone, 1st once he is maxed. The real mountain climbs (Coustouges, Monte Petrano, Arinsal) stay out of reach.

Why HL before SP

If he has all 43 points left, the order washes out: both ways land the same wins and the same points in either division. It only matters if his hidden cap is lower than that, and then HL is the better first spend.

SP08161,020
Division 3
HL11115830
SP11113770

Across the 38 courses, HL is weighted more than SP on 17 and SP more on 10. The SP-heavy ones are the prologues (Porto, Le Havre, Valparaíso, Rio Grande), where he already places well. Division 3 is hillier (9 of its 18 TTs have HL 3 or more), so HL first matters more if you drop.

Why now, not at 28 or 29

The TT Center bonus is set by his TT, not his age, so it is +5 whenever you do it. What changes is how many seasons he gets to use it.

27–30peak ages

His best seasons are the next four

The game's age curve climbs to 29 and falls twice as fast after it. Ages 27 to 29 took almost half of all time-trial wins over the last nine seasons. Do it now and the +5 lands for all of them; do it at 29 and he gets one good season out of it.

~1 FR~2 TQ given up

The cost is a handful of race pops

The TT Center switches off the stray +1s he picks up from racing. Doing it now rather than at 29 gives up about 1 FR, 2 TQ and 2 TT over those three seasons, plus some CL, DH and SP pops that do nothing on a time trial. The +5 TT, through his peak, is worth far more.
