How Teams Score '78
Where each team's points come from. Every row is normalised to
that team's own season, so the colour reads as identity — what kind of team it is
— rather than how big it is.
- Top rider is the team's biggest single scorer and their
share of the team's points — 60% sprinting off one captain is a very
different team from 60% off four riders.
- Points are credited to the team the rider actually rode for, so a
mid-season transfer's points stay with the team that earned them.
- Some races carry two or three classifications (a bunch sprint counts as
both SP and FR), so a result counts towards each. Shares are of classified
attributions, not of distinct results.
- Season 78 is still running — 61 of 90 race days scored, so these shares will shift.
